In the following we assume that the autoadaptation of the model is performed through suitable averages of the main process variables that will be made available for each plate by a system external to the model (in the following this system will be referred to as “Sample Processor”).

I was thinking of "Abtastprozessor" as a possible translation. What do you think?

agree  j_a_otto (X): Ja, das ist kantig, aber gibt den Sachverhalt wieder. Beim "Sampling" geht es nicht unbedingt um das Abtasten, hier eher die Probenentnahme - ob man den Anglizismus "Sample" nun verwendet oder nicht.
