Thank you! We finally got there by thinking around corners. The key to it was the Belgian/Dutch word for welding. As soon as I got on that track, Google turned out to be a lot more forthcoming. Just searching for "lasbek" showed up the shortcomings of just seeking information with Google in English and German.

De laslansen zijn ook leverbaar in GLOOROVIT uitvoering. t.t.z. gemaakt in één stuk uit gehamerd koper (in plaats van een lans met opgevezen ** "lasbek" **). De lascapaciteit en de artikelnummers bijven dezelfde zoals hierboven. Bij bestellen enkel de letter "G" na het artikelnummer bijvoegen.

Die Schweisseinsätze sind ebenfalls in Ausführung GLOOROVIT aus einem Stück mit gehämmerter Spitze (anstelle von Einsatzrohr mit aufgeschraubter **Schweissdüse** aus Kupfer) erhältlich.
Arbeitsbereiche und Artikelnummern sind gleich wie oben; die Einsätze sind mit Zusatz «G» zu bestellen

The French translation of lasbek is "bec de lance", which takes us back to the "beak" theory and I then come up with "welding tip" in English - from there, we come to **Schweißspitze** or **Schweißdüse**

That's why I asked if she had a picture of it.

Just a thought, it could well be a welding head (after all, the Dutch verb for welding is "lassen"), logically, a Lasbek" could be (literally) a "welding beak", more probably called a welding head (pointed, like a beak). A typical attachment for industrial robots.
