Was verbirgt sich hinter "Syachuma"? Tippfehler?

hier eine ganz andere Erklärung: Sachuma ist ein Ort - keine Substanz - und der Satz liest sich so: The trust overlooks Gusco (Uganda),...., Khayamnandi (S. Africa),.... and Sachuma (Angola).
Kann sein, dass sich Sachuma in einer anderen Sprache Syachuma schreibt...

@Gela: Also, ich glaube nach wie vor, dass meine Erklärung ziemlich wahrscheinlich ist. Gib uns mehr Info, bitte! Wie heißt denn z.B. der Trust? Oder WEISST du, dass Gusco eine Firma ist (es gibt mehrere unter diesem Namen)?

Khayamnandi ist übrigens ein Ort in der Region Eastern Cape, kein Unternehmen

Asker: Also ich glaube nicht, dass du mit deiner Interpretation richtig liegst, denn mit "Gusco" ist mitnichten die "Kinderrechtsorganisation" gemeint, sondern (wie aus dem Text eindeutig hervorgeht) ein Unternehmen, das genau wie Kh. in Südafrika beheimatet ist. Was die Aloe Vera betrifft, habe ich nicht hergestellt, sondern angebaut übersetzt - aber das bringt uns mit Syachuma nicht weiter!

Asker: Der Satz lautet: "Currently... Gusco, which is a group of 30 women". An anderer Stelle heißt es: "Two of these projects, i.e. Gusco and Khayamnandi, have been registered as formal businesses." Kh. ist eine Stadt in SA und dort ist dieses Projekt, das vom Trust betreut wird. In der Nähe befindet sich auch das Gusco-Projekt und noch einige andere. Da die Hilfe durch den Trust auf dieses Gebiet rund um die Metro beschränkt ist, ergibt deine Idee mit den verschiedenen Städten und Ländern keinen Sinn. Und - was du natürlich nicht wissen kannst - der gesamte Text, 20 Seiten, handelt von der Provinz Ostkap. Und es geht um Ausbildung, Gesundheitsvorsorge und Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. Und wenn du dir jetzt noch die geographische Lage der drei Länder anschaust, dann scheint mit die Verbindung noch weniger logisch.

agree  Cetacea: Sachuma ist ein Ort in Angola, aber der ganze Satz ist etwas seltsam. "manufactures bricks as well as Aloe Vera" -- Aloe Vera wird höchstens verarbeitet, aber doch nicht hergestellt!

Asker: Das wäre schon fast romantisch, gell? Ich hab das Ganze nicht weiter verfolgt, weil der Auftrag nun auch (mit Fußnote) abgewickelt ist.
