Aus einem Text über neue Inhaltsstoffe, die in Kosmetika verwendet werden:

"Rock of Life" algea's precious fossils are naturally found in Shark Bay, Australia, South Africa's Umbilo River and in the Red Sea.

Mehr dazu habe ich leider nicht und ich vermute, dass "Rock of Life" eh ein populärer Name dieser Algenart ist. Ich möchte aber trotzdem nachfragen, ob jemandem von euch diese Art bekannt ist. Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe!

Correction: not Stromatolith-Algen but simply "Stromatolith", since the text is referring to fossiles (which resulted from the residues of various types of algae)
