Der Beitrag ist überschrieben: "***Morpho-botanic*** and molecular characterization of the oldest camellia trees in Europe". Der Beitrag vergleicht die ältesten drei Kamelienpflanzen in Europa, um herauszufinden, ob diese eventuell alle von derselben Mutterpflanze abstammen. Dazu werden die Pflanzen nach äußerlichen Merkmalen, das ist wohl "morpho-botanic", und per DNA-Analyse, das ist wohl "molecular", verglichen. Der Begriff taucht auch in einem ähnlichen Beitrag derselben Autoren "Characterization and differentiation of old Camellia japonica cultivars using simple sequence repeat (SSRs) as genetic markers" auf, siehe nachstehenden Link: http://www.areeiro.es/comun/publicaciones/Comunicaciones/201... Ich glaube, mir liegt der deutsche Ausdruck auf der Zunge, er will aber nicht heraus. "Morpho-botanisch" ist es jedenfalls nicht. Dr. Johanna Schmitt Germany Da es sich eindeutig um Pflanzen handelt 08:59 Sep 7, 2010  ist der Zusatz "botanisch" nicht notwendig und meiner Erfahrung nach auch nicht üblich. In dem von Konrad genannten Buch ist der Kontext etwas anders, hier heißt es "botanisch-morphologisch", da es um die Benennung von morphologischen Merkmalen in der botanischen Fachsprache geht.
