It could be shown that lautering efficiency has improved over the last ten years, though predictive factors showed minor correlation with xylanase indicating highest impact. The filtration performance (SWIFT), however, did not show any differences over the period investigated, again xylanase indicated impact.

What could this acronym stand for? I doubt it is a method, but who knows?
