Text über die aktuellen wirtschaftlichen Herausforderungen und die Bedeutung von innovativen Strategien.
Hier der fragliche Satz:

There are lots of specific policy responses [to the crisis] underway in many countries; *but taken together this looks as if it will amount to a quite significant period of policy innovation*.

Ich bin mir nicht so sicher, wie ich den zweiten Teil elegant übersetzen soll. Probleme bereitet mir das «it will amount» und auch das «but» finde ich nicht wirklich logisch. Hier meine bisherige Lösung:

Zahlreiche Länder haben eine Vielzahl spezifischer politischen Massnahmen ergriffen. Insgesamt betrachtet scheinen wir uns aber in einer bedeutenden Zeit der Innovationspolitik zu befinden.

.. als stünde uns eine bedeutende Periode/Zeit innovativer/ ganz neuer politischer Aktivitäten/Schritte bevor.
Ich sehe den Gegensatz zwischen konkreten (bereits bekannten, etablierten Maßnahmen) und dem Stochern im Dunkeln, um neue Mittel für den Umgang mit der Krise zu finden.
