English term or phrase: big bunch of fluff
It's about a TV show - the authors finds it a "big bunch of fluff" and claims that the winner was clear before the finale (and that viewers could have saved themselves the trouble of watching for 2 hours).
Of course I know what he means, but how do you best translate "fluff"?

I liked many of the answers. Thank you! I choose this one because I think that it best carries the notion of "fluff" - a whole lot of nothing, a filler)
