Hi everyone. I really have trouble understanding this sentence and thus to render it in German. Can somebody please help with the highlighted part?

Explanation:
eine weitere Alternative zu den schon vorgeschlagenen guten Lösungen. Nur hätte ich gern die "grounds" mit drin - "Rechtswidrigkeit" ist hier ja nicht als pures Abstraktum gebraucht, sondern es geht um den Vorwurf der Rechtswidrigkeit. An Stelle des englischen Autors würde ich aber "interest" nicht den "grounds" gegenüberstellen - das finde ich irgendwie etwas schräg, wie man auch an allen deutschen Vorschlägen merkt.

Ich verstehe das so: egal was für Gründe zu dem ungesetzlichen Verhalten geführt haben, dürfen dieselben nicht berücksichtigt werden, wenn es bei der Enthüllung um das Gemeinwohl geht.
