I’m looking for the eingedeutscht version of “multitasking”. My understanding of multitasking is that it refers to the ability to carry out several functions, often pretty much at the same time, and is therefore highly appropriate for the work of a housewife.

As far as I can tell, the word "multitasking" has already been assimilated into the German language; otherwise, you are probably going to have to describe it, i.e., "...eine Hausfrau, die meherere Arbeitsvorgnge gleichzeitig verrichtet" (vgl. http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q=multitasking Hausfrau&bt... ).

While searching I did see "vielbeschäftigte Hausfrau" a few times, but I think it doesn't quite coincide.

agree  Tatiana Krause: I believe that "multitasking" has been assimilated into the German language, and agree with the "multitaskingfähige Hausfrau". If I had to find another way of describing it, I'd use: "Hausfrau die mehrere Aufgaben gleichzeitig bewältigen kann".

Nicht lachen!!!
Nur noch selten benutzt, aber eigentlich doch ein Wort, dass so *moderne* Eigenschaften wie Flexibilität und Effizienz in sich vereint.

Wenn man sich denn auf zwei Worte einlassen will, würde ich „flexibel und effizient“ vorschlagen, aber das klingt mit Hausfrau zusammen wirklich albern.

Auch "vielseitige Hausfrau".

Allerdings bräuchte es das redundante "multitasking" gar nicht, da "Hausfrau" dieses Talent bereits impliziert. Die Formulierung stammt vermutlich von einem Mann. :-/
