Unfortunately, the idiom doesn't have any metaphorical relationship to the previous part of the sentence. How freely can you translate the text? To accentuate how serious they are, AND create a relationship to the first part of the sentence, I would suggest something like: "doch wir nehmen sie (keines Weges/nicht) auf die leichte Schulter" or, positively, but even more freely, formulated, "Wir sind das Schwergewicht in Sachen Federn. Dabei machen wir es Ihnen ganz leicht." That may all be nonsense, but then again, it may not be. |
