English term or phrase: bluebird deal

A Bluebird Deal is an unplanned or significant deal that was not identified or appropriately reflected in a participant’s STIP performance targets. The Bluebird rule is designed to ensure that when a windfall sale arises, the Sales Representative is fairly rewarded for the outcome achieved.

Hinweis: STIP ist das Bonusprogramm.

Mir fällt einfach keine griffige deutsche Übersetzung ein.

Bluebird Geschäft

Explanation:

Notes to answerer

18 hrs
  -> Könnte stimmen, Gerald...

agree  Horst Huber (X): Hier sicher richtig. Was machen Sie mit dem Zusatz: "it should be the result of planned activities taken on by marketers and sales reps to identify and close the best opportunities ..."?
3 hrs
-> Danke, Horst. Ich denke, dies ist Wunschdenken des Autors. Immerhin schreibt er kurz davor: A blue bird is an unexpected sale that was not the result of any planned activity by the sales person.

-> Vielen Dank, Coqueiro. Also erfolgsgekrönter Nebeneffekt!
