Es geht um einen Roman. Ein Mann wurde des Nachts in einem Zugabteil ermordet. Es gab nur einen Zeugen, der sich jedoch nicht bei der Polizei gemeldet hat. Nun studiert dieser Zeuge die Zeitungsberichte über den Fall.

Das Ganze spielt in Flandern/Belgien.

Mit "Holy ROI" kann ich nichts anfangen. Weiß jemand, was das sein soll?

Gemeint ist, dass die Eisenbahngesellschaft Investitionen in grundlegende Sicherheitsmaßnahmen hinausgeschoben hat, um einen möglichst hohen Gewinn ausweisen zu können.

Wie man das tatsächlich übersetzt, hängt natürlich von zu vielen Faktoren ab, als dass ich da ernsthaft etwas vorschlagen kann. Mein Vorschlag ist nur eine von vielen Möglichkeiten.
