Can I just say something?
Because X always, as we will say in Jamaica, ‘pulls my tongue’ – you demand I say something.

Vielen Dank!

Explanation:
You'd better work with a completely different image/saying instead of using the tongue.

Important here is the relaxed way of throwing a comment. It's not the tongue that is the important detail. It's important there has to be a certain effort before getting the information you wanted.

Asker: I understand what you mean but then I could not mention that in Jamaica, they use the other picture.

Reference: A Jamaican Saying Applied

Reference information:
We have an expression in Jamaica about ‘pulling tongue’.

When you say something to me designed to solicit ‘secret’ information I would say; “Don’t try to pull my tongue.”

When I want to get secret information from you I will try to pull your tongue.

Online when you write and want a lot of responses, you have to select the kind of article which would get the greatest ‘blow back’.

Ulsterman did it with his ‘White House Insider’.

Asker: Cool! "Etwas aus jmd. herauskitzeln" also?
