Der folgende Auszug stammt aus einem Darlehensvertrag zwischen einer Reederei (im Auszug der "Borrower") und einer Bank ("Lender"), die der Reederei Geld für den Kauf eines Schiffs ("Vessel") leiht. Die Reederei verpflichtet sich im Gegenzug, das Schiff angemessen zu versichern. Dazu folgender Auszug:

"The Borrower covenants hereby with the Lender and undertakes throughout the Security Period [...] to insure or procure the Vessel to be insured in any case free of expense for the Lender with brokers/insurers/associations [...] on the basis of the following provisions:

(g) upon the Lender's reasonable request and at the Borrower's expense to insure risks and liabilities not covered by or excluded from the aforesaid Policies taken out from time to time (e.g. excess oil pollution cover, drug seizure, freight demurrage and defence, ---> mortgagees [sic, soll sicher "mortgagee's" heißen] right insurance
