Sorry, war etwas knapp formuliert. In deinem Beispiel:

Für ein gegebenes Paar (qa, qc) und 0 < α < 1, sei [Formel] der gewichtete Durchschnitt.

oder doch "sei [Formel] der gewichtete Durchschnitt.

agree  volker_h: allerdings ... "Mittelwert" scheint mir der gaengigere Begriff als "Durchschnitt" zu sein.

  -> Gut möglich, bin kein Mathematiker. ;-) Wobei bei Google "gewichteter Durchschnitt" gegen "gewichteter Mittelwert" mit 2:1 gewinnt.
