Hope someone can help with this please. “Prior to implantation, HYALOFAST is ***embedded*** with autologous bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC), to promote the cartilage regeneration.” I am trying to find out what the best term in German would be for “embedded”. HYALOFAST is a “scaffold” used in knee surgery. The translator has used “versetzt” and says that it has been “checked with a professional”, but does it really work? To my little brain, “versetzt” is too much along the lines of “vermischt” and does not get across correctly what is meant by “embedded”. To be honest though I am not entirely sure how the “embedding” is performed and maybe “versetzt” works fine. So ideally what I am after is a friendly German native-speaking knee surgeon who just happens to be trawling through ProZ.com questions at silly o’clock on a Friday morning and can tell me what the correct term should be and confirm whether or not (hopefully “not”, because I felt that the translator was rather rude in his/her comment!) “versetzt” works. I have spent too long researching it myself, trying to find a better term in German, and am none the wiser, so best to call in DE-native speakers. Thanks for anything
