This is a rush job. I am thus unable to research this. The following change the end customer made to my translation does not seem quite right to me. Or is it correct after all? (The second terms in asterisks is for my next question, which follows in a minute or so.)

Purposeful movement:
Ask: Can you move either hand or arm at all?
If necessary, ask the patient to show you the movement. Score “yes” if any ***voluntary movement*** is observed. Only ***assess*** this if all five tasks are prevented. If the patient is not prevented in all the previous tasks, the “not applicable” box should be checked.

Please provide medical translation-related feedback on such end-customer change to my previous translation with a focus on putting the right words there. This is PAID work (viz. a somewhat more intricate version of galley proofing my amended translation), not a complaint.
