English term or phrase: molecularly guided therapies
Molecularly guided therapies (other versions: molecularly-guided therapies, molecular guided therapies, molecular-guided therapies) is used as an umbrella term for targeted therapies and cancer immunotherapies, i.e. therapies directed at some tumor-specific molecular structure.
"Guided" seems to indicate (at least in the study protocol synopsis I am translating) that treatment decisions are "informed by" the results of the genomic analyses (= molecular profile) of the individual patient's tumor. Obviously not as close a correlation as in "targeted therapies" (if molecule x is present, then therapy y will be applied), but I have actually not been able to find a general, concise definition of "molecularly guided therapies".

My (preliminary) take: "molekular orientierte Therapien" (but I am not very happy with it).
The only German reference I have found so far uses "molekular geführte Therapien", however, this author's publication is the only occurrence of "molekular geführte Therapien" in the www (according to Auntie G).

Has anyone of you come across a reasonable (or even 'standard') German translation of the technical term "molecularly guided therapies"?

Asker: Danke Regina! 'Molekularbiologische Therapien' hatte ich verworfen, weil es anscheinend meist synonym mit 'zielgerichete Therapien' verwendet wird. Aber bei einer erneuten Suche stelle ich fest, dass auch 'molecularly guided therapies' im Englischen - manchmal sogar ausdrücklich - als Synonym zu 'targeted therapies' bezeichnet wird, und die 'targeted therapies' für diese Autoren die Immuntherapien (die mein Text separat sieht) von vornherein einschließen. Wahrscheinlich brauche ich also doch bloß irgendwelche zwei verschiedenen Wörter für im Grunde die gleiche Therapiegruppe...
