Clam Bake Explanation: Clam Bake ist ein Gericht, das traditionell bei einem Picknick am Strand zubereitet wird. Dabei werden Muscheln und Fisch auf heißen Steinen zubereitet. Ich würde den Begriff nicht übersetzen, sondern eher eine kurze Erklärung zufügen. Heute ist Clam bake wohl eine Art Meeresfrüchte-Barbecue <G>. Der Begriff ist auch ein Synonym für eine große Standparty. Elvis Presley hat z.B. in den Sechzigern in seinem gleichnamigen Film eine solche Clambake-Praty besunden.
