Explanation:
bottom ist das, was bei der Destillation unten bleibt und nicht mit destilliert wird, und wird Bodenprodukt oder Sumpfprodukt genannt. Ich würde nicht Rückstand sagen, das ist residue. upgrading ist allgemein veredeln, hydrofining und hydrotreating (im ÖlKontext) heißen auch im Deutschen so. Problematisch bei der Verarbeitung dieser Materialien sind im Allgemeinen hohe Gehalte an Heteroatomen (Stickstoff, Schwefel) und Metallen, wodurch viele Katalysatoren vergiftet werden.

bottom ist das, was bei der Destillation unten bleibt und nicht mit destilliert wird, und wird Bodenprodukt oder Sumpfprodukt genannt. Ich würde nicht Rückstand sagen, das ist residue. upgrading ist allgemein veredeln, hydrofining und hydrotreating (im ÖlKontext) heißen auch im Deutschen so. Problematisch bei der Verarbeitung dieser Materialien sind im Allgemeinen hohe Gehalte an Heteroatomen (Stickstoff, Schwefel) und Metallen, wodurch viele Katalysatoren vergiftet werden.

Das Bodenprodukt (Rückstandsöl) wird in zwei Komponenten getrennt, von der die den Katalysator enthaltende zum Einsatz zurückgeführt wird. Der mit den Crackgasen anfallende Schwefelwasserstoff wird nach Behandlung in einer Gaswäsche einer Clausanlage zugeführt.

2.2.3.4Hydrierendes Spalten (Hydrocracken)
Mit dem „Hydrierenden Spalten“ wird die Produktausbeute im Siedebereich der Leicht- bzw. Mitteldestillate gegenüber den Crackverfahren erhöht.

Asker: Danke, Kim, schön, von dir zu lesen. Das Rückstandsöl ist mir bereits klar. Der Punkt ist den treffenden Ausdruck für das upgrading zu finden. "Konversion" habe ich bereits entdeckt, überzeugt mich aber noch nicht.
