English term or phrase: rigging
Get the midshipmen out of the rigging!
Since this is taken from a movie about old sailships (1789) I was wondering if rigging meant "Takelage" or "Takelwerk" here. Or is it more appropriate to say "aus den Wanten holen", although it is not exactly the same thing?

aus den Wanten holen
Explanation:
Technically "Takelage" is the more precise word, but depending on the kind of job, this might not be necessary here.

Basically you can use both, but I think in Germany is "in die Wanten klettern" the more common expression.

Good luck with your work!
