I've just translated a text about New York's Minorities and Majority.

I know that someone has already posted a question about this text but still I do need some help.

Sometimes I simply get stuck when I try to translate a sentence. In the end, it mostly turns into a complete disaster because I got the meaning wrong. This time, I completely understood the beginning of the sentence but got lost at the end. I just need someone who untightens the " knot in my brain" ;) Thanks!

Asker: Ahaaa!*klick*;) Jetzt ist der Groschen gefallen!Oh ja, umformuliert hab ich auch, aber eben: irgendwann hörte sich der Satz nur noch chaotisch an. Mir gefällt die Lösung von Thomas am besten. Für die 64 Umformulierungen bedanke ich mich herzlich;) sowie bei allen Anderen für ihren support! Das mit der "weissen Abwanderung" werd ich sogleich überprüfen;) Nochmals vielen Dank!

Explanation:
I suggest to use "Trendwende" instead of "Trendverschiebung". as it makes the German sentence, which is very long, look slightly more elegant.
