see below Explanation: To add to the other assist, a ball valve is a Kugelventil, that is, a valve (Ventil) with a ball(Kugel) inside which the handle rotates. Sch. 40 stands for Schedule 40, a standard for pipe thickness. This applies to PVC pipe. NPT stands for National Pipe Tapered threads standard, and applies to iron pipe. In this case it means that the gas regulator must have 1/2-inch male and/or female ends so that it can be placed inline. Automatic air maintenance device-Automatischer Luftdrucksregler (you were on the right track) Gas handling regulator-again, this means a regulator (Regler), in this context probably means one that can be used for natural gas lines as well as air lines-perhaps Gasbehandlungsfaehiger Regler? The last part I am not certain if you are talking about one item or several, so a word-by word translation might help you sort it out: Electrical-Elektrisch releasing-Ausloesung control panel-Grundplatte Disc plate-Scheibenplatte (you had that), so perhaps all together it would mean "die Scheibenplatte eines elektrischen Ausloesungsgeraets"? Hope this helps. Also have URL of Laixicon, a EN-DE/DE-EN technical dictionary, maybe that will also help you. Viel Glueck! Reference: http://www.tecnologix.net/en/dict/fset_laix.html |

see below Explanation: Here are a few suggestions for your queries. I'm assuming that you are referring to a sprinkler system in a building, i.e. a fire suppression system, not a lawn sprinkler? Threaded openings **per** ISO 7/1 **Rp** -- Gewindeöffnung nach ISO 7/1 Rp For Rp, I found, among many other possible meanings, Release pressure. However, it occurs to me that the letters might be part of the standard. You may be able to find some info by searching on websites that list the ISO standards. Face to face dimension -- Baulänge [Ernst, WB der industriellen Technik] Service pressure at valve -- I found service pipe = Anschlussrohr, and, based on that, thought that "Anschlussdruck am Ventil" might fit into your context Ball valve, ½” **NPT** - Kugelventil (which is a type of Rückschlagventil) [Kucera] NPT is National Pipe Thread, a US thread standard for pipes. Should be left as is. Gas handling regulator - Gas[druck]regler or Gasdruckreduzierventil (an der Gasflasche) [Kucera] For releasing, I'd suggest "Auslösen". I'm guessing that this might be something like Elektrische Auslösesteuerung[stafel] - maybe something like that will fit into your context. Good luck. |
