English term or phrase: pre-loading
Hier geht es um Anforderungen eines Kunden an die von ihm beauftragte Spedition:

The driver is requested to ensure stability of product to avoid shifting of pallets during transport and to check the loading operations to prevent errors in quality (in terms of damages) and quantity. In case of **pre-loading** of drop trailers, the driver has to check the stability of the product prior to the load pick-up, in case the load is not sealed. [...] In case the driver cannot attend loading (e.g. **pre-loading** operation), his signature is a confirmation of the pallet amount only.
