I tried German too, with the same lack of results!
I'm sure Dimitris is right ie it is some sort of insulation, but I think it must be more specific than that. Insulation = insulation. This "ice wall" must be more than that. This sounds like something intended to stop the normal building materials from being damaged by extremely low temperatures, not just something to keep the inside warm.

I had the same idea, Dave, and I tried some possibilities in German, but I did not get anywhere, unfortunately.

Most probably it has been translated from German (German company, etc,) into English and now into Greek. Any clue?

Could this have been translated into English from another language? Does the document give any clues as to the country from which the designers/builders come?

Το κομμάτι του κειμένου αφορά στην κατασκευή των εξωτερικών τοίχων πολυκαταστήματος. Δεδομένου ότι ολόκληρο το κτίριο καλύπτεται εξωτερικά με πετροβάμβακα, κλπ είναι πολύ πιθανόν να πρόκειται για "στρώμα/επικάλυψη κατά του πάγου/ψύχους". Στην περίπτωση αυτή, ας βρούμε ένα δόκιμο όρο.
