Θάρρος είναι η χάρη υπό πίεση Explanation: Grace here means elegance and good manners. What manifests itself as elegance and good manners under normal circumstances turns into courage under pressure. The gracious person becomes courageous under pressure. This has at least two translations on the web. The first one is the most popular one: It’s not a bad translation if you interpret “χάρη” correctly. Not good, though I’ve seen it in a book as well. I might also suggest: But I still haven’t hit on a translation that satisfies me. |
