Burner Windbox / Refractories

This burner features a special low NOx block construction to ensure the optimum performance and lowest NOx emission levels. The windbox is secured to the heater floor before the muffle block is installed. The muffle block consists of a pre-fired castable high temperature refractory. The refractory muffle block is installed into the heater floor over the heater floor / burner opening.
The combustion air to the burner (primary and secondary) is controlled by two dampers on the air inlet. Each damper is fitted with an operating handle and locking mechanism.
