Laminate
A joint structure of various materials created by thermal adhesion. The adhesive is applied in spots at various positions. Particularly suited for use with all-weather membranes. Can also take the form of a ***lining laminate*** or a ***3-layer laminate*** and does not always need to be thermally attached to the upper material.

Επιστημονικός όρος που χρησιμοποιείται σε πανεπιστήμια και είναι σύμφωνος με τον ορισμό του προϊόντος (από τη θερμοσυγκόλληση στρωμάτων πλαστικού υλικού) αλλά και με τη λατινική ρίζα της λέξης. Δεν έχει επικρατήσει στην αγορά, όπου φαίνεται να χρησιμοποιούν τον αγγλικό όρο.
