אני חושב שזה מונח שמשמ בעיקר את חוקי הפטנטים בארה"ב ולכן אני לא בטוח אם יש לו מונח מקביל בעברית.
משמעותו של המנח למיטב ידיעתי היא ש"הזכויות והבכורה על הפטנט מגיעות למי שהפך אותו מרעיון למוצר פעיל, ולאו דווקא למי שהגה ראשון את הרעיון אך לא המשיך בעבודה.
כל זה הוא כמובן חלק מנושא הגנת זכויות פטנט וכו'.
