הפרעה המונית Explanation: Sorry, I automaticaly assumed that you meant the common WMD (weapons of mass destruction) but you were right! There IS a special different term (newer distinction) called weapons of mass disruption לכן אנחנו לא מדברים על נשק להשמדה המונית (mass destruction) אלא על נשק להפרעה המונית (mass disruption). see here: http://www.google.co.il/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=3&url=... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 23 hrs (2009-10-10 07:36:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- See also foreign sources on this distinction: http://cgs.illinois.edu/resources/webvideo/the-north-korean-... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 23 hrs (2009-10-10 07:44:46 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- BTW - The term is rare and new and there's no "officail" term, so you can also find (and use) נשק לשיבוש המוני. Heres from Ministry of Defense: "פצצות מלוכלכות אינן נשק השמדה המונית, אלא נשק של שיבוש המוני (disruption). הצלחתן תלווה בתגובת יתר של הציבור והממשל. היזהרו לא מרדיואקטיביות אלא מבהלה גרעינית www.mod.gov.il/pages/mafat/pdfs/04-07.pdf |
