Britannica tells us that "drill collar" is synonymous to "drill pipe" and it is used for oil drilling:

The Hebrew Academy glossary in turn says that
the Hebrew term for "drill pipe" is "מוט קדיחה"
but I found "צינור קידוח" is more prevalent in use.

זה כמובן רק תרגום מילולי.
לא מצאתי לזה תרגום "רשמי"
זה רכיב שמולבש על המקדח כדי להוסיף לו משקל.
אני מציע בכל מקרה להשאיר את השם באנגלית בסוגריים- אלא אם כן יש לזה כן מונח רשמי שמישהו אחר עשוי לפרסם בקרוב.

I disagree with Ron's comment about the fact that drill collar and pipe are the same. From what I learned there is a distinction between a Drill pipe and Drill collar. The collar just adds weight to the drill pipe - attached to it in some way (screwed into it probably) - however, it seems as a separate component from the drill pipe itself.
