English term or phrase: clear fluids
Do not drink red or purple liquids. Drink clear fluids only such as water, clear broth or bouillon, clear fuit juices without pulp, clear drinks such as lemon-lime soda, Kool-aid or sport drinks.

What in your opinion should be a suitable Hindi equivalent for "clear fluids"?

Actually fluids means 'taral padaarth'.But when the question of drink arises, then it also be:

केवल स्वच्छ पेय पिओ/पीजिए kewal swachchha peya piyo/peejie

  -> Thanks!

agree  Guna (gns): Nirmal peya is more appropriate, since nirmal means clear.

  -> Thanks!

disagree  Deependra Pandey: Pardarshi stands for transparent, though nirmal is better than paardarshi.
9 hrs
  -> You are correct, choice is there, but to say clear, pardarshi or 'see through' is better.

agree  PRAKASH SHARMA: i don't agree with pardarshi, but the best option is nirmal peya- nirmal-mal rahit.

disagree  morarp: It should be " shudhha dravaya

  -> Shuddh could be coloured, see the context.

disagree  englishhindi: Although paardarshi seems fine, but peya may not always be correct according to medical terminology because fluids may be inetrnal body fluids too like peritoneal fluid. Peya means drink

  -> When it is to drink then peya is correct. Here the context is related to drinking, so I feel I am right.

keval /svaccha drava padarth

Explanation:
I agree with Keshab's reply, but slightly I modify the word 'clear' to 'keval/svaccha.' Infact, 'taral' is a Sanskrit word and 'tremulous/quavering is the meaning for that.

Thanks!
