Dear Friends,
I too had agreed to the first entry on the basis of my being familiar with the month name 'Ramzan'. However, on second thoughts, I came to the conclusion that the choice of the name between Ramazan and Ramadan should be made according to the people concerned. If they are connected with the Indian subcontinent, the preferable word should be 'Ramzan', but if the people mostly belong to the Arabic world, the best word for it is surely 'Ramadan'. Sorry for the late clarification. |
