Illetve az eszköz helyett konkrétabb megfogalmazás (bemenet, kimenet stb.) ha lehetséges, vagy adott esetben "elem".
A mondatba belekerülhet valahogy így: "kétállapotú eszközöket tartalmaznak – melyeknek, mint a nevük is mutatja, két állapota lehetséges / két lehetséges állapota van –". Ekkor a "mint a nevük is mutatja" betoldás mellett az ismétlés egyáltalán nem zavaró.
