A scone gyakorlatilag úgy néz ki, és ízben is hasonló a pogácsához, de nem sós.
Édesnek sem nagyon lehet mondani, ritkán tesznek bele cukrot, és akkor is keveset.
Viszont vajjal és/vagy dzsemmel eszik, az eper a kedvenc.
Angol/skót délutáni tea tipikus tartozéka.

  -> Hehehe. Én is az édespogácsa mellet maradnék. Itt valóban nem szokott sem édes, sem sós lenni. Nagyon sűrű tejszínt (clotted cream) is szoktak a dzsem mellé adni.
