Context:

The company applies a time apportionment of costs and tax withholding across all countries the employee is located in during the taxation period regardless of a country’s billable / non-billable status.

• Costs refers to the appreciated value of the equity that is charged out to the countries.
• Tax withholding refers to the dollars that are withheld from the gross employee proceeds at the time of exercise/vest and credited back to the local payroll countries from Corporate so that the countries may pay local tax authorities on behalf of the employee.

Az idézett szöveg alapján úgy tűnik, arról van szó, hogy a részvényeket nem kibocsátási áron, hanem az értéknövekedéssel együtt (vagyis az akkor aktuális, értéknövekedett árfolyam szerint, esetleg az időközben esedékes osztalékok vagy egyéb jövedelmek hozzáadásával) számlázzák ki a más országokban található leányvállalatok felé.
