1) sokkal több, mint a férje párja, (vagy párzó-párja hö hö)

2) rangban jóval magasabb, mint a férje - ugye a "mate" normális esetben a kapitány alatti rang - itt meg nyílván a nö hordja a gatyát a kapcsolatban - így "most feminine" ironikus megjegyzés (ha azt jelenti egyáltalán, hogy "nöies megjelenésü")

Egyébként figyelemreméltó az a megfogalmazás is, hogy "Mrs. mate with him" - hisz úgy is lehet venni, hogy "Mrs. mate-with-him" - "Párzikvelené"

De szeressük csak, szeressük. Szerintem van olyan jó ez a vicc, hogy még szabadabban is fogalmazhatsz - mert igazából viccsorozat a mate-with-him-mel együtt.
Természetesen szellemes javaslatom nincs.

Asker: Tegnap éjjel arra jutottam, hogy jóval több volt, mint a hites felesége // az asszonykája. Szerinted ez még elmehet? (Ércsük a viccet, csak nem szeressük)

Explanation:
Szerintem az angol azt mondja, amit prjcmgr mondott, vagyis valami olyasmit, hogy neki (a férjének) több volt, mint "Másodkapitány Asszony", vagyis a férjével szemben nemcsak Másodkapitányként viselkedett.
Talán úgy lehetne a lényeget visszaadni, hogy a férje szemponjából nézve nem csak vérbeli Másodkapitány, de vérbeli asszony is volt.

Vagy egy olyan csavarral lehetne megoldani, hogy "szárazon és vízen is vérbeli Másodkapitány Asszony volt: férjét nemcsak a fedélzeten, de az ágyban is nagyszerűen kommandírozta".

Na már csak az kell, hogy Jim kitalálja, hogy a fedélzet meg a fedeztet hasonlóan hangzik... Bár ki tudja, lehet, hogy abból is ki lehet valamit hozni.
