"Standardised MedDRA Queries (SMQs) were developed to facilitate retrieval of MedDRA-coded data as a first step in investigating drug safety issues in pharmacovigilance and clinical development.

SMQs are groupings of terms from one or more MedDRA System Organ Classes (SOCs) that relate to a defined medical condition or area of interest. They are intended to aid in case identification.

The included terms may relate to signs, symptoms, diagnoses, syndromes, physical findings, laboratory, and other physiologic test data, etc., related to the medical condition or area of interest.

The only Lowest Level Terms (LLTs) represented in an SMQ are those that link to a PT used in the SMQ; all others are excluded.

To access a CIOMS publication called "Development and Rational Use of Standardised MedDRA queries (SMQs)," click here.

SMQs are included in each MedDRA release. To download SMQs, please go to the MedDRA Downloads page for the current MedDRA version"

  -> Köszönöm!

neutral  Attila Hajdu: Standard? Szerintem nincs ilyen magyar szó. Megtévesztő ugyan, hogy reklámokban sajnos használják. A "narrow" hogy illik a megoldásba? "Standardized MedDRA Query" a feloldása, addig jó.

  -> Attila, van ilyen magyar szó. :) Lásd Országh-Magay an-ma szótár: "standard". A narrow szerintem szűkítést jelent, keresés értelemben. Látható, h meg van adva 1 kifejezés majd utána szerepel szűkített keresés az adatbázisban a már hosszabb kifejezéssel.
