However, these improved therapeutic products do not have a commonly agreed name and are called "New Therapeutic Entities", "Hybrids", "Supergenerics" or "Added Value Generics".

In a recent article European authors have upped the ante by calling products approved under the 505(b)(2) or the closely related EU 'hybrid' procedure, 'Super Generics', while offering "added value generics, new therapeutic entities or hybrids" as alternative names.

The term "supergeneric" has been given to the development process for small molecule drugs which offer a therapeutic advantage or differ from me-too generic products. While generic drugs represent a copycat version of the parent drug, supergenerics represent new therapeutic entities that demonstrate improvements in product delivery, design or the manufacturing process.

Ez szerintem az NCE-re (new chemical entity) hajaz.
Mivel ott általában entitásként használják, lehet itt is segíti az analógia megértését.
Szóval nem egy új, hatással rendelkező molekuláról van szó, hanem egy ismert hatású hatóanyag "újragombolásáról".

Explanation:
Semmiféleképpen nem jövünk ki jól, ha az angolt akarjuk szó szerint visszaadni, és azt a közvetlen ügyfélnek is megmondanám. Eleve az angol is hibás. A new és az entity kizárják egymást. Az entity az már meglévő. A therapeutic pedig valóban gyógyászatit jelent, de itt csak és kizárólag API-król van szó azaz hatóanyagokról, a gyógyászati pedig nemcsak gyógyszerekre vonatkozik, hanem bármilyen gyógyászati termékre, pl. eszközökre is. Tehát az angol kifejezés elég rosszul sült el.
A TEVA-sok úgyis NTE-t fognak mondani.

Én ezt a kifejezést rengetegszer hallottam: gyógyszerhatóanyagok újszerű felhasználása. Ezt is lehet írni, de ha fontos, hogy a gyógyszerhatóanyag legyen a végén, akkor újszerű vagy újszerűen felhasznált gyógyszerhatóanyag.

Ez teljes mértékben lefedi a János által megadottakat. A gyógyszerhatóanyagok újszerű felhasználása (pl. hatóanyagkoktélok (kombinációk), meglévő hatóanyagok újszerű felhasználása, molekulák újraformulálása).
