Medical - Medical: Pharmaceuticals / Clinical trials
English term or phrase: Forced randomization
Ilyen mondatokban:
"Total number of subjects who have been forced randomized into the study:"
"Forced randomization restricts randomized subjects to treatments available at the site"

Magyarázat pl.
... it is possible for a site to run out of one particular type of medication but still have stocks of other treatments remaining. In this situation it is possible to restrict the randomization to the treatments for which stocks of medication are available. This has commonly become known as "forced randomization." There are also other situations in which forcing can be used in trials managed by IVR.

kényszerített v. kényszer-alapú randomizáció
Explanation:
Én így mondanám, esetleg "kényszerfeltételek melletti", illetve "korlátozott" - szövegkörnyezettől függően. Példáidban:

"subjects who have been forced randomized into the study" - azok az alanyok, akik besorolása kényszer-alapú randomizácó útján történt
"it is possible to restrict the randomization" - lehetőség van a randomizáció korlátozására

"The forced randomization is another story and it basically to force the random assignment to deviate from the original assignment to deal with some special situation. For example, in a randomized trial with moderate and severe degree of subjects, we may put a cap on the # of severe subjects to be randomized. When the cap is achieved, the severe subjects will not be randomized any more, but the moderate subjects can still be randomized. We could enforce a cap for # of subjects at a specific country/site or limit the number of subjects for a specific treatment arm to be randomized at a particular country/site. The forced randomization is usually required to deal with the operation issues and is implemented through IVRS or IWRS. Too much forced randomization will neutralize the advantages of the randomization."

forced randomization
randomizálás szükségintézkedéssel

Explanation:
Tehát a szükség viszi rá.

forced randomization
(elérhető) gyógyszerkészlet-alapú randomizálás

Explanation:

This, however, does mean that it is possible for a site to run out of one particular type of medication but still have stocks of other treatments remaining. In this situation it is possible to restrict the randomization to the treatments for which stocks of medication are available. This has commonly become known as "forced randomization."

McEntegart nevéhez fűződik a forced randomization kifejezés.

McEntegart (2003) has proposed a "forced randomization" approach, whereby the randomized subject facing a stock-out is "forced" to be allocated to the next free treatment arm in the randomization list corresponding to AVAILABLE TREATMENT at the site.
