Jadi menurut saya, kerangka pesawat yang sudah jadi itu ditempeli kertas. Kemudian agar kertas itu bisa terpasang secara pas dengan kerangka, dilakukanlah penciutan dengan larutan alkohol.

Seperti yang terdapat dalam tautan yang diberikan:

-Rubbing alcohol, used to shrink the tissue after it is attached to the frame.

Tujuan penciutan itu justru untuk mengurangi tingkat penciutan. Jadi jaringan kertas itu diciutkan dulu sebelum ia menciut sendiri ketika mengering.
