Meskipun jumlah tamatan sudah banyak, namun tingkat gaji dari tamatan universitas /perguruan tinggi tetapi tinggi dibandingkan dengan gaji yang diperoleh dari tamatan dari tingkat di bawahnya (SMA), sehingga sistem pendidikan perguruan tinggi masih bisa diekspansi karena ternyata masih saja ada permintaan (demand) untuk tamatan perguruan tinggi.
