English term or phrase: switch cost
"Calculations like the difference between the sale price and the production cost of an order (**switch cost**) can easily be determined."

Come rendere "switch cost"?
Mi sto un po' perdendo tra i costi e i prezzi.. :-)

Costo incrementale
Explanation:
in questo caso credo si intenda "switch" come "interruttore", (es. "switch on/off"), dunque i costi che sorgono nel caso in cui si acquisisca e si metta in produzione l'ordine e direttamente imputabili ad esso;
NON quindi "switch" come "spostarsi, cambiare, variare" (es. "switch from Vodafone to TIM");
dunque ritengo si traduca più correttamente come "costi incrementali", o "costi marginali" o "costi sorgenti", tutti e tre usati nel linguaggio contabile.
