Partendo dal presupposto che "First-class honors" lo tradurrei con Laurea con Lode, e che ho trovato riferimenti che indicano che la corrispondenza per i cosiddetti "Second Class" e' una votazione tra i 100 e i 107, come rendere tale votazione in un'espressione concisa come nell'originale? [traduzione di un diploma di laurea triennale]. Grazie mille.

Ciao, io ho sempre tradotto "laurea a pieni voti". Non ho mai trovato una fonte assoluta, ma anche i miei professori in università concordano con la maggioranza delle opinioni che trovi su internet, sul definire "a pieni voti" una laurea da 99 a 107 punti.

Seguono "massimo dei voti" e "con lode". Molti portano a supporto di questa idea un decreto che risale a Vittorio Emanuele, in cui si specifica che i pieni voti sono dai 9/10 del voto massimo in su.

Asker: Grazie Sara, ma penso che la traduzione "laurea a pieni voti" si possa adattare a "Upper" e "First Class" , che appunto si riferiscono a votazioni 99-107 e a 107-110 rispettivamente. Qui si parla di Second Class Lower, quindi votazioni tra il 90 e il 99 o forse anche meno. Non proprio a pieni voti insomma.
