Si tratta del titolo di un titolo di paragrafo nel capitolo "Installing the environment" per un'interfaccia operatore per il controllo della pressa punzonatrice. Il titotolo in questione è:"install base image". Segue una serie di istruzioni che allego.
"1. Reboot PC with the Environment DVD inserted. Make sure the label is facing away from you.
2. Use the attached keyboard to select Acronis One-Click Restore and then press Enter.
3. Select Yes to warning and then press Enter.
4. Wait for operation to complete. (Approximately 11minutes).
5. Select Exit and then press Enter.
6. Eject the DVD while the PC is rebooting.
7. When the Windows Desktop appears, there may be message boxes stating:
"The Windows modem name could not be found."

8. Press Ok for each message. (There may be up to five messages.)

9. Calibrate the Touch screen.
a. The calibration screen will be visible with an all grey background.
b. Touch the targets with your finger as indicated on the screen.
c. Select the check mark after confirming that the cursor followed your finger.

10. Set computer name.
a. With the program NewSID window visible, press Next.
b. Select Random SID option and then press Next. Select the Rename the computer to checkbox.
c. Type SN followed by the serial num ber of the machine and then press Next.
d. Press Next to apply the settings.
e. The PC will reboot after the settings have been applied."

La mia è solo un'alternativa.
Anche in questo sito dove si trattano macchine (apparecchi da laboratorio, in questo caso), parlando del software di un dinamometro si legge: "un programma di base con le funzioni di controllo macchina".
