In background Explanation: Si usa il termine background anche in italiano, per indicare l'elaborazione svolta da determinate tecnologie/applicazioni sw anche se l'utente sta usando il computer per altre operazioni. Esempio tipico: stampa in background (il computer elabora la stampa di uno o più documenti, mentre la macchina è impegnata dall'utente che lavora magari su altri file o con altre applicazioni). 12 anni di esperienza nel campo del software per grafica e stampa. |

funzionare in sfondo Explanation: Molto usata questa soluzione nell'italiano informatico. Ho trovato moltissimi siti che usano "funzionare sullo sfondo" e "funzionare nello sfondo", ma secondo me "funzionare in sfondo" (non ci sono più "sfondi" in cui funzionare!) è la soluzione grammaticamente più corretta.
