bin Explanation: Reference 1: The memory routines in GNU libc use bins to store memory chunks of similar size to assist in improving performance and preventing fragmented memory areas, where you have unused memory gaps throughout the memory arena. Reference 2: A compromise can be reached with the use of several linked lists of chunks (bins), in which each list has its chunks of a similar size. The best-fit policy selects the bin, while the first-fit selects the chunk within the bin. It doesn't seem to me to be a term used only in the digital storage of histograms, although the data, may, of course, be split up on a similar basis. blocco Explanation: può sembrare un termine generico, ma rende l'idea. Di solito rimane "bin". Probabilmente il contesto tratta di "garbage collection" per il recupero di spazio-dati. Si tratta di una sorta di unità base per sistemare le aree dati. Il concetto dovrebbe essere simile a quello del container per lo smistamento merci. tranche Explanation: (Un termine prestito dal mondo finanziario). Un gruppo o gamma di cifre viene chiamato spesso un "tranche", che è la parola francese per "slice" (inglese) cioè fetta. In inglese si usa "tranche" spesso. Mi raccomando che usi una traduzione di "bin" (e.g. cesto) ma per la prima volta spieghi tra parentesi che equivale a "tranche" (trancia?) |
