finger-snug

Italian translation: Completare il serraggio a mano

English to Italian translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng
English term or phrase: finger-snug
A 1.3 mm Allen wrench has been provided to tighten the fasteners finger-snug.

Explanation:

agree  Giacomo Di Giacomo: La chiave Allen si chiama chiave a brugola in italiano, diamo credito all'ing. Brugola che l'ha portata in Italia.

Reinstall the preload adjuster assembly, taking care not to
cross-thread the cap. It should thread in by hand and does
not need to be tightened with a wrench. Making it finger-
snug is quite acceptable.

You tighten with hands not necessarily with tools that will make it extra tight. Does that make sense? Sometimes when you tighten something too tight it ruins the seal. So you can use the Allen wrench to the point where it's tight, just don't use extra strength to tighten further.

Note to reference poster

Asker: Pensandoci bene, credo tu abbia ragione. Come dirlo in italiano?
