na +4 | DV and Digital Video |

DV and Digital Video Explanation: I have recently translated some marketing documents for DV equipment by Hitachi, so I have done recently just some research about the subject and terminology. In Italian we commonly use DV (and also DVD, etc...) using the English abbreviations. Definitely not VD!! In the long form we can say video digitale, but the two languages are so similar that virtually there is no distinction between the two forms. Everybody uses and understand the English expression. Use Digital Video and DV for the abbreviation, no problem. |
